There is an interesting and important new report in the New York Post today, regarding the Democrat''s likely intentions to "regulate" talk media next year.
The writer of the report, Brian Anderson, has just recently published a book on the subject, and I take his very seriously his perspective on the matter.
I've written on this subject before, and I take it very seriously. I happen to think that the Democratic Party will NOT attempt to reinstate "the Fairness Doctrine," in so many words. But will attempt to "reform" media in a variety of ways, so as to acheive the same result as the "Fairness Doctrine" might accomplish. Anderson alludes to this idea, as well. This is a serious, and potentially very dangerous situation.
I'm keeping my eyes on this, and will have much more to say about it, very soon.
