Now comes the news that thousands of American flags were tossed in a trash dumpster, after a Barack Hussein Obama campaign rally.
A sad state of affairs, and yet another reason to question "who is this guy, and what is he really about?"
Denver Post writer David Harsanyi questions just what it is, exactly, that the Obama gang was supposed to do with "thousands of left over handflags." That's probably what Obama's campaign team wondered, as well.
And that's why we should all question the son of a former bureaucrat in the communist government of Kenya.
My family heritage has been, for several generations, distinctly American. As such, I was taught to respect the United States flag. Big flag, little flag, cloth flag, paper flag, expensive flag, cheap flag, whatever. You don't let it touch the ground. You don't let it get dirty. When you store a flag, it should first be properly folded. You show it RESPECT at all times.
You show it respect, not because it has a utilitarian value, like leftover cups and napkins. You show it respect because of what it is - - the American Flag.
And now we have Obama and company wondering what to do with leftover flags, and, apparently deciding there is no useful purpose for them, dumping them in the trash.
Perhaps they could have been donated to a veteran's cemetery (there are plenty of military installations near Denver)???
And this exotic, multicultural man-on-a-mission wants to command our military...........

I'm glad someone FINALLY pointed out that workers at the Pepsi Center (who have no professional and no necessary personal affiliation with the DNC) discarding flags is pretty much the same thing as a President dealing with international military operations. It's not like Bush and Rumsfeld knew what they were doing either. I don't recall Obama playing dress up on a battleship (4 miles off the coast, mind you) and declaring a war that is still going on years later a "mission accomplished". You're a pale imitation of Mark Levin, who is a pale imitation of Hannity, who is a pale imitation of Limbaugh, who is an obnoxious and malinformed offshoot of William Buckley (do you know who Buckley is? He was the guy that defended segregation from his Midtown highrise and got embarrassed on national tv by that weirdo Gore Vidal). You're like a mix of Ted Baxter and Joel Osteen. Now reply to my posts. Let's get it on. Bring it, whatever you want to debate, be it religion, politics, sexism (that's a new one...start cramming!), feminism, movies, sports, whatever. I'm Omar out on Division and Gold calling your Marlo Stanfield ass out.
